This is what gives the Golan Heights its second name: “Wine Country.”

Over the years, the distinctive wines of the Golan Heights Winery have become world-renowned, winning dozens of awards at prestigious international competitions. Indeed, the Winery has placed Israel on the world wine map.

Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc.

Vineyards: Golan Heights.

Winemaking: Pressing following 3-5 days maceration; completes malolactic fermentation.

Tasting Note: Bright raspberry, blackberry, cherry and wild berry fruit characters with hints of herbs; deep red-purple color and full fruit flavor.

Serving Suggestions: Strong-flavored foods, pastas, pizzas, meat dishes such as grilled hamburgers and steaks.

Serving Temperature: 13-16°C/55-60°F
